Battle Of The Budget Liners

It's typical isn't it that the moment I get back into doing eye liner and cat flicks my liner would run out? I'd previously been using the Benefit They're Real Push Up Gel Liner, I used to work for Benefit so have have a few of their products. Though I love the matte black and long lasting finish of this liner I did find it could sometimes be temperamental with the gel crumbling away, so I decided to seek out a cheaper alternative. I was searching for something liquid in a pen applicator since I find these the easiest to work with and so hit up the Boots aisle.

Musical Musings: Mowbeck

If you read my last musical related post you'll know I recently saw the Arkells live; as I predicted they were absolutely incredible and I already can't wait for them to come back to the UK. However this post isn't about the Arkells, but their support act Mowbeck.

Oh Charlotte Tilbury, can this woman put a foot wrong? After a 21st birthday makeover my love affair began. I've previously tried her sculpt and glow, kohl eyeliner, the Sophisticate eye shadow quad, wonder glow foundation and the contouring brush...yeh I love the stuff. I knew my next conquest had to be lipstick related and voila, two new rose gold beauty's made it home with me.

Musical Musings - The Crookes: Single Release

I first saw the Crookes when I was about 15 supporting a band in Sheffield and it's fair to say I've stayed pretty loyal since then, as are all my family (we've got near identical taste in music). Hailing from Sheffield these guys have a really unique sound and early next year they'll be releasing their fourth album, the 29th of January to be precise.

Decorating Small Spaces

As I've previously mentioned in July I moved to London to start my first job and live as an independent woman. Turning to Spare Room I found a beautiful old house super close to work that was ideal, the one hitch? The room was pretty small, and so I got to work making the most of my small space!

New Affordable Skincare

With various holidays and a big relocation to London over the summer months it's fair to say I neglected my skin a bit. And as per I became dehydrated and extremely oily. So with Boots having a 3 for 2 across skincare (thank god for Boots ah?) I invested in some new pieces to inject some hydration back into my skin before winter hits.

It's All Greek To Me - Greece Guide, Part Three

IMG_0685 Now I've rambled on long enough about the beauty of Santorini I'll cover food. I'll put it out there - the Greek's know how to cook. As I said in my first post we had a small kitchen and with Santorini having lots of supermarkets and bakeries this meant we could get fresh fruit and pastries as well as Greek yoghurt (obviously) to have for breakfast.

A Pathetic Girl's Guide To Glasto

Glastonbury festival 2015 Looking at me you probably wouldn't think I'd be much of a festival girl, in fact I wasn't quite sure I'd survive Glastonbury and a few of my friends were just as shocked when I got back in one piece with a smile on my face.

A Guide To Croatia: Split/Hvar

Hvar coastline croatia
After realising we'd never had a "Girls Holiday" before, me and two friends from home remedied this by booking ourselves a week away to Croatia. I'd heard various friends recommending Croatia and agreeing all we really needed was sun and sea we settled on a week in Split and Hvar. We had an incredible time and learnt some tips to pass on - so if you're thinking of paying a visit read on!
